Police arrest 4 robbery suspects at Easter.

The Lagos State Police Command arrested four suspected armed robbers during the Easter period and from whom they recovered arms and ammunition.
The command’s spokesman, SP Joseph Jaiyeoba, said the suspects were now being interrogated at the State CID, Panti, Lagos.
According to him, one of the suspects was arrested on Saturday at about 0600 hours with one locally-made pistol in an uncompleted building at Ikorodu.
Jaiyeoba said the second suspect was arrested at about 0200 hours by some anti-riot policemen at No. 21 Olalusi St., Ajegunle, also in Ikorodu.  
The spokesman also said two other suspects, who allegedly robbed one David Shuaibu of Igbokuta Road in Imota, Ikorodu of a Camera kit, a Laptop and N230,000 cash, were also arrested.
These other suspects were arrested on Sunday by the police at Imota Division, Ikorodu, and the police have recovered the stolen items from them,’’ he added.
Jaiyeoba also announced that a stolen vehicle was recovered and four other vehicles were reported stolen during the Easter period in Lagos.
