CG charges officers to be more proactive in their duties
The Commandant General, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ade Abolurin, has advised officers to be more proactive in the discharge of their duties.
Aboluringave the advice in Abuja on Thursday while addressing the officers on the current security challenges in the country.
He stressed the need to embark on new modalities to meet the current security challenges bedevilingthe country.
The commandant general also called on other security agencies to collaborate with NSCDC to tackle the securityproblems.
He said the issue of terrorism had assumed a global dimension and urged security agencies to wakeup and secure the lives of the citizenry.
According to him, some of the recent crime in the country were imported from the neighbouringcountries and are bigger than what the country experienced in the past.
He called on security agencies to work together and wake up to their responsibilities to solve the problems.
