FRSC promotes 56 in Lagos/Ogun Zone
The Lagos/Ogun (RS2) Zone of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) on Monday in Ikeja decorated 56 newly promoted officers with their new ranks, and urged them to work harder towards sustaining the objectives.
The Corps Commander for the zone, Danjuma Darba said they were promoted on merit and urged those who did not benefit to work harder so that they could be considered for elevation in future.
Those decorated were 25 Assistant Corps Commanders, 10 Chief route commanders and eight superintendent route commanders.
The others were seven route commanders and six deputy route commanders.
Darba was assisted by the Lagos Sector Commander, Jonas Agwu and the Chaplain of the Nigerian Army, Col. Dawuk Danfulani, in decorating the newly promoted officers.
One of the newly promoted, Mrs Nimota Okoro-- an assistant corps commander-- thanked the FRSC for the confidence reposed in them and promised that they would work harder.
