The Police has arraigned three persons before an Abuja Senior Magistrate’s Court over an alleged Three arraigned for stealing Three hundred thousand naira theft.
The accused Tajudeen Animashaun, Mustapha Mohammed and Isah Ajadu all of Jayi Village Abuja were alleged to have committed the offence on Saturday last week.
Police Prosecutor, Corporal Emmanuel Adikwe, told the court that the matter was reported at the station by one Uche Okeke of Galadima Corner Shop, Gwarinpa Estate, on the same date the theft occurred.
However, the accused pleaded not guilty to the alleged theft, saying they knew nothing about the alleged missing money.
Senior Magistrate, Idayat Akanni, granted each of the accused bail in the sum of fifty thousand naira with a surety each in like sum, who must be resident within the court’s jurisdiction.
She adjourned the case till June fourteen for hearing.
