A twenty-eight year-old Securityman, Eddy Ikuenobo and a twenty-two-year-old labourer, Benjamin Adams,have been arraigned at an Abuja Senior Magistrate's Court for alleged joint act, house breaking and theft.
Police Prosecutor, Corporal Yilkadi Dunji, told the court that one Ugo Nwoko of Federal Housing Authority, Phase one, Lugbe, Abuja, reported that the suspects committed the crime on May sixteen.
The suspects pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge and the Magistrate, Bashar Alkali, granted them bail in the sum of fifty tousand naira each with reasonable sureties in like sum.
The magistrate adjourned hearing in the matter till wednesday next week.
In another development, three other people appeared in court for alleged joint act and negligence.
The suspects include a thirty-two year-old room attendant, Godwin Okon, a thirty-three-year-old supervisor, Umoh Bassey and thirty-six-year-old securityman, Mameh Acchilas.
Prosecutor, Abdul Alhassan, told the court presided over by Senior Magistrate Oyeyipo Ademuyiwa, that Joseph Ameh of Chida Hotels, reported the accused persons on May twenty-one.
When the charge was read to the accused persons, they pleaded not guilty.
Ademuyiwa granted them bail in the sum of two hundred thousand naira with a reasonable surety each in like sum, who must have a reasonable means of livelihood and submit tax receipts for the last three years in the court.
He adjourned hearing in the matter till June four.
