The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has uncovered two kilogrammes of heroin, concealed inside stethoscopes at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The latest discovery is coming few days after ten kilogram of cocaine was abandoned at the same airport by a yet to be identified drug trafficker.
Its Head of Public Affairs, Mitchell Ofoyeju said the suspect who imported the substance had been arrested.
Ofoyeju said the fifty-four-year-old suspect imported the narcotic substance on April fifteen and he was apprehended during screening of passengers aboard an Emirates flight from India.
He said also a twenty-four-year-old suspect name withheld who ingested ninety wraps of substances that tested positive for cocaine weighing one point four nine five kilogram was arrested.
Both suspects would soon be charged to court.
