Police nab 3 for robbery
The Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad , Adeniji-Adele, Lagos, has arrested three men, who allegedly robbed a filling station at Ajegunle, a Lagos suburb.
Spokesman Lekan Ogundare said the suspects were apprehended on Jan. 15 at Costain Roundabout.
Ogundare, an ASP, said the gang which specialised in robbing filling stations, had been on the wanted list of the police in the past six months.
Ogundare said items recovered from them included one hammer, one rod and a mobile phone.
He said the suspects would soon be charged to court.
