Police arrest 11 robbery suspects in Lagos.
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested eleven suspected armed robbers and recovered seven vehicles in different parts of Lagos metropolis within the past six days.
Police Public Relations Officer, Samuel Jinadu, said the suspects were arrested through intelligence reports.
Jinadu, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, explained that four of the suspects were arrested on January thirteen and three vehicles recovered from their hideout in Ikeja.
According to him, two suspects were arrested on January sixteen after a tip-off at Igando, Lagos, while five stolen vehicles were recovered when they were about to be disposed.
He said five suspects were also arrested on January eighteen in the Ejigbo area of Lagos, after the police got a distress call.
The Police Sokesman said all the cases had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba.
