NSCDC maps out security strategies for Sokoto governorship race.
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, has come up with operational order on how to ensure smooth implementation of electoral processes in Sokoto State.
State Commandant of the corps, Aminu Kofar Soro said a comprehensive security network had been worked out to sustain peace in the state
He said already officers and men of the command had been briefed on security modalities to be adopted in their respective areas of jurisdiction.
He added that leaders of political parties had been sensitised on the need to advice their supporters to adhere strictly with the rules and regulations.
Soro said the command would not hesitate to arrest and prosecute any person or group of people found tampering with peaceful nature of the seat of caliphate.
He called on officers to continue to put in their best as hard working ones would be rewarded.
Soro called on parents to carefully monitor their children so as not to allow them be used as political thugs.
