Navy ready for vision 20:2020.
The Flag Officer Commanding, Naval Western Command, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogbor on Wednesday said that the Navy was preparing its officers and men towards the realisation of the country’s Vision 20:2020.
Ogbor said the Navy is ready to reinforce its officers and men towards the achievement of the Vision 20:2020 economic projection.
According to him, the Navy has set the necessary machineries in motion to provide logistic support for the country to key into the World economy by the year 2020.
He commended naval officers and men for their efforts at reducing the activities of pirates and other crimes on the nation’s territorial waters.
The FOC also said the navy has also identified areas for transformation in fulfillment of the Chief of Naval Staff’s vision of a World class Navy for the country.
