The police in Lagos has arrested a 22-year-old Beninoise houseboy, who allegedly stole the pistol of his master, an army officer, and used it for robbery.
spokesman for the Lagos State Command, Frank Mba,said the alleged suspect stole the gun and four live ammunition from his master’s house in Abuja, in lieu of his unpaid salaries.
In another development, a 33-year-old man was also paraded for allegedly dealing in stolen motorcycles in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
Mba said six unregistered motorcycles and about 20 number plates were recovered from him.
