Nigeria Army School of Public Relations and Information takes off on Monday.

The Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information has registered another batch of 25 students at its Lagos headquarters.

The 25 army officers and men were drawn from military formations in the country.

More students were, however, being awaited in the second of the four-week training programme.

The school was inaugurated in June 2010.

Some of the courses under the programme are media operations, television journalism, press laws, arbitration and conflict management, public speaking and feature writing techniques.

The courses would be handled by army specialists and civilians from reputable media houses in Lagos.
