According to him, the second truck marked DT 890 ABH, which has 15,000 litres of petrol, was apprehended on July 27, at Otu-Jeremi in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta.

He said officials of the anti-vandalism unit of the command, who made the arrests also nabbed four suspects in connection with the cases.

He gave the assurance that the command was committed to ensuring that vandalism was totally eradicated in the state.

The NSCDC commandant urged his colleagues to use members of the public to get information as the corps alone could not fight the economic saboteurs.

He also urged the criminals to desist from the act because the law would one day catch up with them.

Andekin also appealed to the public to report any suspected activity around public facilities, including pipelines to the NSCDC.

He that there was the need for the people to join in policing public infrastructure in the country.
