A thirty-five-year-old video film marketer, Bamson Olanrewaju, risks seven years imprisonment if found guilty of defrauding a Lagos-based producer of one point two million naira.
Olanrewaju is standing trial on a four-count charge of fraud and stealing before Patrick Adekomaiya, of the Yaba Magistrate’s Court in Lagos.
Prosecutor,Inspector Emmanuel Essien, told the court that the accused obtained an undisclosed quantity of a video film titled Eewu Nla valued at one point two million naira from Toafeek Oyeshiji.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the four-count charge and was granted bail in the sum of four hundred thousand naira with two sureties in like sum.
Adekomaiya adjourned the case till June twenty-one for further hearing.
