Landlady arraigned for biting tenant's breast.

A landlady, who allegedly bite off part of the breast of her tenant, has been charged before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate’s Court, Lagos.

The sixty-year-old landlady, Elizabeth Adebowale and three others are facing a six-count charge of conspiracy, assault, threat to life and breach of the peace.

The other accused persons are Folake Adebowale, Oluwole Abiola and Segun Abiola.

Prosecutor, Inspector Eshiet Eshiet told the court that the accused persons allegedly engaged Mercy Daniels, a tenant, in a fight for testifying against Adebowale’s son at a police station.

Eshiet said the accused threatened to kill the complainant unless she withdrew the statement.

The accused persons, however, pleaded not guilty and were granted bail each in the sum of twenty thousand naira with two sureties in like sum.

Chief Magistrate, Oyindamola Ogala adjourned the case till July fourteen for further hearing.
