Unemployed in court over three point five million naira fraud.

A thirty-three-year-old unemployed man, Collins Unakalamba has appeared before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court over alleged three point five million naira fraud.

Unakalamba is facing an eleven-count charge of conspiracy, stealing and obtaining money by false witness but he pleaded not guilty before Magistrate T. Akanni.

Prosecutor, Corporal Rosemary Ehinmegbe,said Unakalamba and another person still at large defrauded the sum from one Felix Njoku between May and June twenty zero seven.

The prosecutor said the accused committed the alleged fraud at a branch of the First City Monument Bank located at Sanusi Fafunwa Street.

Akanni granted the accused bail in the sum of one million naira with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till June thirty for further hearing.
