The Seme Border Command of Nigeria Customs Service has announced the seizure of four point four million naira worth of contraband.
The seizure is said to be achieved following the command’s renewed anti-smuggling campaign.
Some of the items seized include scrap metals, two trailer loads of oil pipes and a gas tanker containing carbon dioxide.
Its Comptroller,Bawa Mohammed said the importers of the oil pipes claimed that they brought them into Nigeria to find buyers.
