A twenty-six-year-old man has been charged before a Surulere Magistrate’s Court for allegedly assaulting and stabbing a friend in a brawl.
The prosecution said Elis Igbinere stabbed Dare Ojogbede on his shoulder with a knife.
Charged with a two-count of assault and causing bodily harm, the accused, however, pleaded not guilty.
According to Inspector Olaide Sunday, the accused stabbed Ojogbede, following a disagreement over money.
Magistrate, Abiola Soladoye, admitted the accused to bail in the sum of fifty thousand naira with two sureties and adjourned the case till June seventeen.
