Two suspected robbers have been arraigned in Lagos for allegedly, robbing traders of valuables worth one point two million naira.
The accused persons, Ramoni Rahim and Kazeem Ayinla are facing a nine-count charge of conspiracy and armed robbery at an Ebute Meta Magistrate’s Court.
The prosecutor, Corporal Isaac Aminu, told the court that the accused persons with others believed to be at large, had on May eight at Iyiola Olawale Street, Akoka, Lagos, robbed some traders and a student.
Magistrate,O.O. Olatunji, however, did not take their pleas and ordered them to be remanded in prison custody, pending advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions.
He adjourned the matter till July seven for further hearing.
