Inadequacy of facilities is hindering the operations of the Badagry Office of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
Badagry Divisional Officer, James Wachin said the corps was not able to carry out constant surveillance on facilities in Badagry.
Wachin said Badagry Division Office is lacking operational facilities such as vehicles, functional office, arms, bullet- proof vests, and as such cannot confront vandals.
He who pledged that the corps would do its best with the available resources said the corps would collaborate with other para-military agencies in Badagry to rid the area of vandalism.
The Federal Government set up the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in all local governments to enhance protection of oil pipelines and telecommunications facilities as well as other government property.
