The Power Holding Company of Nigeria has said it could not have been responsible for the electrocution of two residents of Festac town on June one because it was during a power outage.
Its Senior Public Affairs Manager of Festac District, Distric, Chinelo Amah said there was power outage in the forty-one Road area where the two men a pastor and an unamed person were electrocuted.
She said the faulty line that could have caused the accident was traced to a resident’s generator used in powering forty-one Road, D-Close Street lightings during outages.
The two men were electrocuted during a heavy downpour.
Police Public Relations Officer of Lagos State Police Command,Frank Mba had earlier said the deaths were due to electrocution.
