One killed as building collapses in Lagos.

One person was killed after an uncompleted one-storey building collapsed at Oniru Estate in Lekki, Lagos State.

Assistant Director of the Lagos State Fire Services,Rasaq Fadipe who led a rescue team to the site said five people were at the site when the building collapsed.

Fadipe said two of them escaped without any injury while three were buried under the debris.

According to him, the building collapsed when a carpenter was trying to remove woods from some pillars.

He said said his team always faced the challenge of ascertaining the number of people buried under any collapsed building.
