The police in Lagos has arraigned a twenty-nine-year-old man, Ogonna Okereke, on a one-count charge of loitering.
Okereke was charged before the Surulere Chief Magistrate’s Court for loitering at Shade Shomefun Street Aguda Lagos.
He, however, pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of fifty thousand naira with two sureties in like sum.
Prosecutor, Inspector Olaide Sunday, submitted that the accused entered the building and was going about without any reason.
He said the movement of Okereke was suspicious and that this made an occupant of the building to raise an alarm and call for his arrest by the police.
Chief Magistrate Abiola Soladoye adjourned further hearing to July two.
