The police in Lagos has arraigned two sales boys, Tochukwu Oluka and Ekene Okonkwo for stealing goods worth thirty million naira million from their master’s shop.
The accused persons were charged with conspiracy, stealing and threat to life before an Igbosere Chief Magistrate’s Court on Lagos Island.
They, however, pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutor, Superintendent of Police Raymond Odion, said the accused persons committed the alleged offences with some others still at large in January at Idoluwo Street on Lagos Island.
Odion submitted that the accused also threatened the life of their master, Ifeanyi Mbanusi, with the intent to intimidate him.
Magistrate O. I. Akinkugbe granted the accused persons bail in the sum of one million naira with two sureties each.
Akinkugbe adjourned the case till July fifteen for substantive trial.
