Bomb blasts: Residents hoarding information says STF.

Spokesman for the Security Task Force in Jos, Captain Charles Nweocha has blamed residents for hoarding information about the Christmas eve bomb blasts which rocked some parts of Jos.

Nweocha said on Sunday in Jos, that information flow is very poor among residents.

He said the Force had continuously solicited for information from the public to assist it to deal with situations as they arose.

The spokesperson described the blasts as the height of wickedness and wondered why some people should be so callous.

Nweocha said no arrests had so far been made since the heinous crime occurred.

The spokesman said no individual or group had owned up to the blasts.

He also spoke of reported sporadic attacks around Angwan Rukuba and described the action of the youths as not unexpected in view of what had happened.

On the casualty figures, Nweocha said he would align with the figures given by the Police Commissioner, Abdurrahman Akano and make them available soon.

Three bomb blasts on Christmas eve in three different locations of Jos North suburbs killed many and injured many more.

Those who sustained injuries are receiving treatment at the Bingham University Teaching Hospital, Our Lady of Apostles Hospital, Plateau State Specialists Hospital and the Jos University Teaching Hospital.
