IGP expresses commitment to police reforms
The Inspector-General of Police, Hafiz Ringim has said he was committed to the ongoing reforms aimed at transforming the police to a highly dedicated force.
Ringim said in a Christmas message to Nigerians that the police were determined to ensure adequate security of life and property during and after the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The message, signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Olusola Amore, Force Public Relations Officer, said Ringim had directed all commands to cover all vulnerable and key points in their jurisdictions.
Ringim urged the Christian faithful to always emulate the life of Jesus Christ whose teaching border on love for one another and peaceful co-existence of people irrespective of tribe, race or religion.
