The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA on Thursday said that it had arrested 50 people with 322.2kg of cannabis during a raid on a hideout in Lagos.
The NDLEA spokesman, Mitchell Ofoyeju, said that two men, suspected to be major cannabis dealers, were among those arrested while the others were mostly smokers.
He said that the smokers, who were found to be addicts, would be counselled.
Ofoyeju quoted the NDLEA Chairman, Ahmadu Giade, as saying that similar operations were also taking place in the other states.
