Court remands two in prison for car theft, murder.

An Ebute Meta Magistrate’s Court has ordered that two accused persons be remanded in prison custody for allegedly snatching a Toyota Camry saloon car and killing the owner.

The prosecutior, Isaac Aminu, alleged that the accused persons killed Sikirat Osinubi at her residence in a bid to dispossess her of the car.

The accused persons Chinedu Nwakolam and Patrick Nwobi are standing trial for a three-count charge of conspiracy, stealing and unlawful killing.

Magistrate, O.O. Olatunji did not take their pleas and ordered them to be kept behind bars pending advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions.

The case has been adjourned till July seven for further hearing.
