NDLEA arrests man with 4.150kg heroine at seme boarder.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on Thursday announced the arrest of a man with 4.1 kg of heroin.

The agency said the suspect was nabbed during routine search of passengers on Wednesday at the Nigeria/Benin Republic border crossing at Seme near Badagry in Lagos State.

The substance was said to be concealed in packs of beverages inside his travel bag.

The current value of the drug is about N13.5 million.

Acting Area Commander, Seme Command, Inalegu Ameh said detailed investigation had commenced into the case.

He added that the agency had put in place adequate measures to trace and intercept drugs at all locations in the country.

The suspect, he said, would soon be charged to court.
