The Police said in Lagos on Thursday that they had arrested two men in connection with the kidnapping of a six-year-old boy.
The boy, who is the suspects’ friend’s son, was alleged to have been kidnapped on Aug. 27 at the family house in Jaji Ave., Itire-Ilogbo, Ajangbandi, a Lagos suburb.
According to the police, the boy was receiving a lesson at home when the suspected kidnappers lured him to an undisclosed location and locked him up.
A ransom of N150, 000 was demanded by the suspects.
The spokesman for the command, Frank Mba, a Superintendent of Police, who confirmed this to journalists, also paraded the suspects.
He said the suspects were arrested in their homes on Wednesday at about 2 p.m in Ajangbadi.
He said the suspects would be charged to court after investigation had been concluded.
